Gorby

Yesterday, when I brought him home, I closed all the doors upstairs, because I didn't want him to get confused. So I left him to explore the living room/dining room/kitchen (where his food is) and the basement (my basement is finished, so it looks just a like a big room, but I set up the litter box in the laundry room down there, so I wanted him to know how to get to it).

I spent time with him in the basement yesterday to teach him to use the litter box, and I was very happy when he used it. Today, I went home at lunch to check up on him and even though I wasn't there, he knew how to go downstairs to the litter box.

He's a very happy kitten, playful and full of energy. I'm very happy I got him.

He's been sneezing a little bit, so I hope he doesn't get a cold or anything. But other than
that, I can't wait to see him after work.

I showed his picture here at work, and Dena said his name should be Gorby (from Gorbachev, the Russian president), because of the spot on his head -- that was pretty funny).

Toby

I named Morris, Toby. and we had a great night. he is so loving. I fell in love with him as soon as I saw him. Right now he is trying to help me type. I have had to delete a lot.

Oh about the electric litter box -it works great, but it takes 10 minutes to come on, which is a long time. It isnt too loud during the day, but when you are just falling asleep... THE CAT CAN JUMP.

Well thank you so much again.
