Gabby

I am writing to give you an update on Gabby.

Although she’s only been with us a few weeks, I can’t say enough about the joy she has brought to our family! She is a darling little lover who is very social and the perfect combination of highly playful and highly cuddly. She seems to love each of us as much as we love her and she is the constant companion of one of us at all times without showing any favoritism – a fact most appreciated by our youngest son.

In addition, I’m very pleased with her personal habits and ability to ignore the scent of other animals left in the house by the previous owners – rather than feeling like she needs to re-mark the territory. …although it could be that her sense of smell is a bit off, because she can often be seen with her head in our teenage son’s sneakers when he leaves them on the floor! If she has any quirk that isn’t absolutely adorable, it might be that she likes to pretend she’s the centerpiece of the kitchen table, but she’s already learned that it’s not appreciated, so now she’ll only do it when she’s sure no-one’s looking – and she’s quick to scurry down when I am in sight. (that’s a cat for you!)

I’m grateful that your description of her was accurate so that we could make the best choice when we were ready to adopt. And clearly she was well cared for before she came to us. She seems as happy with our choice, as if she had picked us.
